A new Witcher multiplayer game is rumored to be in development, with a focus on co-op gameplay and customization.
The Witcher franchise is one of the most beloved RPG series of all time, and fans have been eagerly waiting for news about the next installment. CD Projekt has already mentioned that The Witcher 4, 5, and 6 are planned, and that the series will expand with more games in the future. However, new rumors are now circulating about a potential Witcher game that could move away from the traditional single-player formula.
According to a report from MP1st, a new unannounced Witcher multiplayer game is in development. The report claims that the game is being developed by CD Projekt Red and will be released on PC and mobile platforms.
However, The Molasses Flood has said that the game will absolutely not be a mobile game. This means fans who were hoping for a Witcher game on mobile should not expect this to be that project.
The game itself is rumored to be set in the year 1230, when Geralt was still young. Players will reportedly be able to customize their own witcher, including both their appearance and their witcher school.
For now, we do not know which studio is developing the game. However, we do know that CD Projekt and Monopoly Go maker Scopely were working together since last year.
